I have been loving the sound of 6ths recently. I was jamming over a loop, and came up with this lick that utilizes thirds on the first part, then 6ths walking up over the 5 and 4 chords of the loop. Check it out below!

I recently redid my basement, and the new wall is perfect for a backdrop. I broke it in with a cover of Keith Urban’s new single, “Superman”. I have been using a friends Line 6 Helix LT for a little while now as well. If you are are a Helix user, you can get the tone here!
